so i recently discovered this blog:  perks of being single & i'm loving it.. you guys should def check her out! her posts are about well, exactly what it says.. all the perks of being single.

now i've been single for a bit now i can honestly say that i'm pretty happy with it. i'm not going to use all those single cliche excuses about being single like i'm too busy for a relationship, or i don't need a man to make me happy, or the ever so popular, "i love being single! i dont want a man" because those excuses are bullshit. no woman WANTS to be single and purposely shoots down every guy 'just because'. sure, those excuses sometimes truly does apply so some but not all. of course i wouldn't mind having someone other than my girlfriends to talk to, being able to wake up to sweet msgs, having someone tell me how gorg i look, or actually having a reason to get dolled up but thats not the case right now. instead of being bitter about your situation, get over it and learn to deal with it. remember: theres nothing a man loves more than confidence.

idk where i'm even going with this post but i guess what i'm trying to say is that i'm open to being with someone and if the opportunity came, i'm going to take it. but until my prince charming comes, i'm going to enjoy being able to go clubbing with my bitches, dress like a skank sometimes, dance with randoms, flirt with cuties, and being able to do what i want because i'm young and free. 

so next time someone asks why you're still single, simply smile and bat those lashes of yours and say, "because i'm having too much fun with it."
